While the owners of the old “Maki” hotel wanted to renovate the hotel in accordance with their own family structure, I was involved in the design process of their hotel, which they named no: 81 in order to honor the windmill number 81, which their grandfather inherited from them in Bodrum. In this process, we wanted it to represent the hotel, which is located by the sea, with the cut 81 writing, which represents the sun remaining on the sea horizon. I had the opportunity to design the logo of the restaurant bar “Daze”, which is one of them. Since the restaurant aims to include a little bit of each cuisine, I produced an emblem from the brand’s own name and hid it in a sun again.
